Therapy Sessions

Sessions are approximately 50 minutes long and usually occur on a weekly or biweekly basis. In the first session we'll explore what brings you to therapy and I'll ask you to share relevant details from your personal history. I'll listen carefully to your responses to get a sense of your story and unique perspectives. We will work together to identify goals and the therapeutic approaches that will best meet your needs. In subsequent sessions we will check in on your progress, and amend and change goals as needed.

 

Therapy is a personal journey of self-discovery that often leads to profound shifts, changes and transformations. Our work together may be brief and focused on a specific goal or more exploratory and longer in duration.

Fee & Insurance

My fee is $130 plus HST and I offer a limited number of spaces at a reduced rate. If you are part of a private insurance program, your coverage may reimburse for my services as a Registered Psychotherapist. I can also provide receipts for services under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. Payment is due at each session and can be made by cash (when in person sessions resume) or e-transfer on the day of the session. Receipts are provided upon payment.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellation or appointment changes as it allows me to offer the space to another client. For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, the full fee will be charged for the missed session. Please note that most insurance plans do not cover the cost of missed appointments.
